This deliverable updates the replicability and transferability draft plan, according to the actual project results, achievement and shortcomings. First of all, an overview of the historical data on sulphur oxide emissions in Europe are given, along with the existing abatement techniques. A market survey is then offered for the MgO sector, for which specific details are given for each producer and site. The survey is also complemented by information on large and medium combustion plants and other main and lesser emitter sectors covered by the IED. The R&T and by-product valorisation potential of the proposed technology is subsequently analysed, as well as CLM BREF review considerations and specific planning is put into place. Finally, specific preparation and planning is provided in order to obtain BAT candidate status during the next CLM BREF review.
